I have learned a lot this semester. It is the first time I have taken classes on line and I really enjoyed it because I was able to work as well as take classes. I have noticed that I am not as afraid to write anymore. The worst paper that I just dreaded was the research paper. I think I will always hate those. I enjoyed writing blog posts because it was a chance for me to just write which I normally don't do. I learned this semester that school is hard work especially if you are working full time. I find myself so tired that the last thing I want to do is homework. I want to to try harder next semester to not procrastinate doing homework. I am so excited for summer to get have a break from school. The hardest class I took this semester was an institutions class. Thank heavens I had my husband to help me out. I am excited to get all of my generals over so that I can really start getting in to my major. I took an FCHD class this semester and I learned a lot of skills that can helped me see what I would like to have as a career when I am done with school.

Well not all the school side of things I have learned how to play the piano this semester. I am really enjoying it and I hope soon to learn how to play the guitar. I have also been learning how to drive a stick shift. I am not very good at it. I hope that I can have it mastered by July. I don't know why driving a stick shift is that difficult for me but I am awful at going up hills and I feel so sorry for the other cars that are around me. Good luck to everyone I hope this semester went well for you.

April Fools Day is a really awful holiday. It is full of lies and pranks. Who invented the holiday anyways? The best prank of all time in my books is when my brother-in-law filled my sisters lotion with mayonaise. Gross! She fell for it and lathered it all over her body. She spent many days trying to scrub that oily smell off. April Fools is always celebrated on April first and many countries celebrate it. It is not a proclaimed holiday but many celebrate it including my brother-in-law. If you are gullible then you will most likely be fooled on this day. There are many tricks that one may choose to play on this day. The famous saran wrap on the toilet is a big one. Along with taping the faucet, this will make it so the water sprays out. Whatever you choice of trick, make sure you do your research so that April Fools Day turns out to be a memorable day.

I did not pull any pranks this April Fools Day. I wish that I would have because it makes the day more fun, as long as you are not the one being fooled. In the past I have pulled some pretty good pranks. When I was in Middle School I ripped up my drew red marker over me, messed my hair and put little rock all over my body. I looked like I had been in a serious accident. I went to the elementary school that my mom teaches at and my friends carried me in. I made myself cry and my mom fell for this trick. She was ready to call the hospital and she was seriously worried about me. I didn't want to take the april fools joke too far so after a few minutes I jumped up and said "April Fools!" My mom was shocked and angry. The next April fools joke I pulled was last year. I had gotten a pregnancy test and colored it red. I showed my husband and family that I was pregnant. They all believed me so I must be a pretty good actress.

When I wrote the first paragraph with out using the word I it was hard. Evert sentence I thought of had I in it. I had to look at the encyclopedia for some ideas. I don't remember the last time I wrote a research paper. I don't know if I ever have written one. This will be a new experience for me. I did not know that some teachers don't like you using the word I but I could see how that could be useful to a research paper.

I absolutely hate public speaking! The last time I spoke in public was two weeks ago. I am a sunday school teacher for my church and I teach every other week. The last time I spoke there was only three people in my class. I enjoyed not having many people to teach. I have always been intimidating by public speaking especially when it is in front of a lot of people. My hands and body get all sweaty and I loose my breath a lot from talking. I have to always take big deep breaths. I have taught sunday school for the past two years and I have gotten quite used to it. The nice thing is that I get to teach with my husband. When I have to speak in large crowds or in front of people that intimidate me I get really bad stomach aches.

I like to practice over and over what I have to speak about in public so that I am prepared. I always have to have a paper lined out of what I am going to say because if I get to nervous I forget what I was planning on saying. I also like to pretend like I am not in front of a lot of people. I have always gone by the saying 'Fake It Tell You Make It' and that is exactly what I try to do. I would like to think that teaching Sunday School has helped me with my fear of speaking in public but, it hasn't. I am always just as nervous. When I listen to other people speak I like it when they are confident and I like it when they make what they are speaking about entertaining. I am glad we don't have to get up in front of each other in this class but if we would of had too, I would have.
